Behind the Russian drones and missiles launched daily against Ukraine, there are stories of people - the people of Ukraine who find themselves well into Year Five of this prolonged war. We are asking you to help us raise production funds for a documentary film that will tell these human stories. Personal and heartfelt tales of a resilient people paying a high price for their basic desire to live peaceful lives in a democracy. 

Not long after the war begin in 2022, David Van Hooser, award-winning producer of LightHand Productions, journeyed to Ukraine to tell not battlefield stories, but stories of humanitarian work going on outside the spotlight of major news coverage. As these stories were shown on local news programs, social media, and film festivals, the world got to witness the struggles and strength of Ukrainian women, men, and children. 

As the war continues, so do the heartbreaking and inspiring stories.

That’s why we plan to return to Ukraine to produce a follow-updocumentary titled HOPE WITHOUT END! This time, David Van Hooser and LightHand Productions will be joined by humanitarian volunteer and actor, Alex Hramakouski  -Ukrainian journalist, Alisa Kureikina - and Mamuka Mamulashvili, commander of the famed Georgian Legion.
